This brochure provides easily understandable information for patients undergoing total hip replacement surgery. It contains an explanation of what will happen before, during and after their hospital admission and explains the various roles of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals, involved in their care. By providing this information to patients undergoing this surgery, as well as to their families, we hope to optimise post operative outcomes and facilitate a safe and timely discharge.
